In 1987, American International Group, Inc., (AIG) bought The Gulf Agency. AIG is the leading U.S.- based international insurance organization and the largest underwriter of commercial and industrial coverages in the United States. The Gulf Agency is a managing general agency and wholesaler specializing in property, casualty, transportation, personal lines and specialty lines primarily in the surplus lines market. We built our company on a belief in ability, hard work, and integrity. That belief, combined with experience obtained since our founding in 1972, is here for you.
